So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

Aha that upside down trick might help

It seems to ā€˜set’ the coating and show it who’s boss. You could smack its backside, while you’re at it.

Thanks for that wee bee

Normally I eschew violence but for bloomin’ onions I will smack botty and tell it who is in charge…

Morning all.

Bring back the foil-top gin bottle and early morning doorstep delivery, that’s wot I say.

Just so wee birdies can get at the gin on other folks’ doorstep wee birdie?

Bacon buttie?

My goodness, I suppose that might be a problem. In some areas.

I know honest wee birdies would never stoop to scavenging on the stoeps

I hear there are dishonest wee birdies who are that sort of disreputable characters

High winds all night, & so far today. 2 wheelie bins lying down on the drive & fat pigeons waddling about in the garden…

It’s all go here…

'Twas an hoolie, alright. We got off lightly, chez bee. Just the inevitable extra twigs from the bluddy ash tree (why doesn’t it just die back?) but Northumberland was quite badly hit - lots of power cuts. school closures, trees down - East Lothian has had sad loss of trees etc. Mr Bee, undaunted, managed to struggle to the gym (itizz Monday) and I’m still nursing a cold (somebody has to).

Gawds help farmers as there are swans floating around fields

The ground is totally waterlogged and I give thanks for the terrace and drive daily

I give thanks for living at the top of a hill. The flat pastoral land below us is providing a haven for swans and many other waterfowl. Not certain how the lambing can be managed, tbh.

On the plus side - I have thoroughly enjoyed a slice of the sundried tomato bread we made a couple of days ago. Mr Bee has clearly enjoyed his lunch of prawn curry, two onion muffins, one cheese scone and a posh chocolate (wot I gave him at C-mas time). He’ll have lost weight with the cold thing and I fight a losing battle.

Dear twin I fight that battle every day

I am beginning to think I should just give up

We got up this morning to find an uprooted lavender bush in our front garden. It’s not one of ours and we have no idea where it came from.

Have you planted it?

Lavender from heaven

ETA anyone want some excess beef stroganoff?

I made it and it grew in the pan to be more than I thought it would be

And not a good thing to save for another day

Were I not very full indeed of splendid shepherd’s pie, I would be happy to help out. As it is…

Mememememe.

Please.

Not sure what to do, tbh. Don’t want the real owner to walk past and spot their missing lavender planted in our garden, then again hardly anyone does walk past here. Maybe plant it at the back, if it isn’t claimed soon.

I would stick it in a pot so the owner can see you looked after the plant for them and if not claimed you have a healthier plant
