I am feeling vaguely triumphant: I knitted myself a jumper from a particular pattern and it is lovely but rather too baggy, so I thought I would knit another, same yarn in a different mottled colourway, but using needles a size smaller, ie 3.5mm instead of 3.75mm. And it came out beautiful but just too tight! Gah. I was wondering what to do with it.
Yesterday I spent the afternoon with Granddaughter over from Norway, and on the off-chance took it with me.
It suits her wonderfully well and fits her like a glove. So I gave it to her.

I have been trying to find a pic of our gorgeous Siamese cat sisters, who enriched our lives a few years ago - no luck, They were glorious creatures, very idiosyncratic - like Einstein, for example.
Dinner has been butternut squash salad and it was good enough.

Danny Boy never lost his dislike of cats, he was all for dogs & horses.
I am still very wary of cats, but there are a couple I am beginning to trust. I don’t like it when I don’t know where they are.
