So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 2)

Corned beef hash here, with the lightly pickled beetroot & onion.

I made a bowl of the chooped Granny Smith/onion/celery salad earlier, so had a small bowl of that too.

I was out driving and a white van passed me with this on its side panel:

Pièces de Carrosserie / Body Parts

Hooray for bilingual signage, but if they’d asked me, I might have suggested putting ‘Auto’ before ‘Body’.

Snorkity Snork, Janie.

The tills at Tiny Tesco weren’t working, this evening, so, whilst one assistant was on the 'phone to summon assistance, the other checked my stuff through the self-service till.

Flingage of broken bits has occurred, as itizz general rubbish tonight, & I am now engaged innan repair.

My make-up bag needs an Noo zip so I have sorted one & need to sew it in.

I also need to sort out the zip drawer in my sewing room, or find somewhere else to store them.

:bulb:moment has just occurred- I can hang them using safety pins from an skirt hanger.

Which has also sorted out my problem with the interchangeable knitting needle wires, which at present get drawing-pinned to one of the bookshelves in my study so they don;t get rolled up and impossible to use; Carinthia, you are a Genius!

(When it has happened I will ask Gus to post a picture so you can see what I mean.)

Bacon butties ready

Hmm I have many wire for my circular needles

So i need the illustration as I have the ideal place to hang wires rather than have em lepping out of my knitting box at me when I go to get one while leaving another bit of the garment on a wire waiting for the next bit to be knitted

Cats would just swipe the whole treat out of your hand and claw you for daring to think of short changing them on treats

Treats are what a cat deserves for just existing…

Evening, all. It was a good day for a funeral - sunshine, warmth, no rain or wind. A Good Friend gone, but not forgotten. Thankfully, tomorrow’s weather is forecast to be fair, so we’ll go walkies and enjoy the start of Spring. Cheers, Cellarites.

I’m sorry for your loss, Soo. Glad it was a good day for it; funerals in the rain are utterly miserable. Pitcher of something Gin?

Soo dear twin I have spent too many funerals freezing despite loads of layers to disagree with you on it being good funeral weather

Thanks, Carinthia. So it is, but mine was very poorly and died in her sleep.

Anyhoo - tomorrow is another day, thankfully!

Morning all

Ulster fry ingredients all cooked nicely in chafing dishes on the table

I am off to a rally soon

A forestry rally where Motorsport Ireland have in their infinite wisdom(?) decreed that 14 year olds can drive in the closed road forestry competitive sections

This could be fun…
