I hope it goes well and that you have fun, Twellsy.

My sunshiny day didn’t last, but I’m accustomed to the cold breeze that scours the valley and we had a decent walk. This (again) for dinner, but itizz scrummy.

Happy birthday to The Ambridge Reporter :balloon:

I broke the kitchen blind. How will you be celebrating?

I think it might be more accurate to say that the cord of the kitchen blind broke (after many, many years) and you happened to be the one pulling the blind up at the time.

Eight years. I think that deserves some of the Good Gin.

The blind is a mere bagatelle when compared to the drains, in any case.

I have made chocolate (the sort that smacks your taste buds with a whack of pure cacao) and peanut butter brownies using chocolate from this place

It looks like a rich dark intense fudgey nutty mix

Separately, yes please

Together, no thank-you Twellsy.

Shall I rustle up some mocha brownies dear Chatelaine?

With the Bull’s fancy coffee

It rates 11 on a 1 - 12 scale

Yes please, providing that the coffee flavour doesn’t just disappear.

My Mother used to add an spoonful (heaped) of instant coffee to the proper stuff when making cakes.

She maintained that it ‘fixed’ the flavour.

Someone I knew used a spoonful of Camp Coffee Essence, similarly. She kept a bottle of the stuff that was used exclusively for that purpose, because nobody in the household could stand it if it was made up as a drink.

Together is fine by me, Twellsy. Bluddy delicious, in fact.

Passes a brownie or ten to the Gusly crayture

I think limpets should be plumped up so their shell is a nice elegant fit for purpose home and outfit

My Mother used to do that too, Fishy.

There were certain houses where that was the only coffee available. Tea was drunk there as it was safer…

Coffee flavour in my mother’s house involved a little saucepan with Greek coffee that was boiled and the coffee made thusly hurfed into the freezer to cool for a moment before going into a cake mix

Lacking Greek folk who rented the flat in our house and supplied us with coffee I use the Bull’s coffee to get my coffee
