Use a circular needle and it can’t happen!
Whilst this is undoubtedly true, I can’t stand the things, they make my wrists ache (yes, I know many people find the opposite but I’m weird, OK?).
No, I think my problem is insufficient alcohol. That’s it.
We haven’t had any complaints…
Oh dear. Perhaps I should try harder.
I vote for circular needles too as I find I don’t drop stitches off the end of the needles creating a holey mess
Tonight yer non-knitting bees had mushroom, leek and thyme risotto with steamed furrin asparagus. Lots of Grana Padano helped it towards a good meal.
How is the latest puncture site faring, Twellsy?
Soo xx
Shh
The talv anti bionic is flowing into it as I type
So I am just glad to have the talv or telv stuff to get me on my feet and out of the door
The med students who are doing the canula insertion for all the hospital as a job in time of Covid-19 are such dear girls and yesterday they said that they were going for the foot rather than try to get between the bruises on my arms and hands
The nurse tonight is a honey
A good old fashioned nurse who takes no nonsense from anyone but cares deeply about her patient’s welfare
I like nurses like that
That’s good, Twellsy. As I have absolutely no idea what talv or telv antibiotics are, I am delighted that you have a less ancient nurse than I to care for you

Sadly, without recourse to a good old-fashioned bedpan with which to stun your tiresome roommate. Clangggg!
I’ll wish Twellsy a Good Night of Sleep.
And, actually, all else - Best Dreams.

Happy Arkhipov Day. On 27 October 1962, the Project 641 (Foxtrot-class) submarine B-59 was detected in international waters near Cuba. The captain intended to launch a T-5 nuclear-tipped torpedo against the US Navy carrier group, as an alternative to being forced to surface. The political officer agreed. But Arkhipov, the task force commodore, was on board B-59 and refused; he prevailed in the argument largely because of his heroism during the K-19 disaster of the previous year.
By any reasonable measure, Arkhipov saved the world.
Morning all
Another day and I hope that the bank holiday having been here means that I see my doctors and gproper pain killers
I hate edakes
So as I suspected wee birdie there’s good on all sides
Whereas we are fed the line that it was Kennedy wot saved the world
There seem to have been several people who although not leaders of their countries had the sense not to “obey orders” and launch nuclear strikes against eg flights of sinister ducks.
Most annoyingly, my bank statement today shows a debit of £94.16 paid to Tesco on 23rd September; and I know absolutely that I was not at Tesco on that day or the day before it, nor have I bought anything from Tesco on line. So now I have to wrestle with my bank about it.
