Yay for surprise gifts, Twellsy!
Something I neglected to mention about yesterday’s horse wrangling is that one of the livery people shouted, “f**k off - you’re a bad horse!” and this adds to the humour for us. Somehow.
Dinner was harissa and chickpea cauliflower bake with pangritata and steamed asparagus. Oh, and baked tomatoes. I viewed the new lambs with a good deal of interest, today.

Carinthia - I sympathise re the wedding cancellations. DD and SiL should have been going to Italy last year for such a celebration and then again this year. They will be leaving Poodle with us at the end of May so they might visit the York-dwelling friend and his Italian fiancée. If anything normal might be allowed to occur by then.
