I’ve been pondering this, extensively.
So it was going to be pan-seared and roasted cannon of badger with heart & liver bon-bons, celeriac three ways (namely left, right & centre), fricassée of Hen of the woods mushroom, a sea buckthorn gel and a Malbec sauce. Oh, and a charred leek (SO last year, Dahlink).
I have just had a video call from a barn/warehouse in Devon where GD was trying on wedding dresses.
The choice was down to 2, so, with the addition of a proper hooped underskirt to support the weight, & a long discussion about the alterations required, she is sorted.
Fizz will be found, & drunk later, although the Bride to be was given a Piccolo Prosecco anna straw!
She has a model figure with legs up to her armpits, & long blonde hair, & looks great in anything.
I preferred the 1st dress, but once she knew that the 2nd could be comprehensively ‘tweaked’ , then she went with her favourite, which is as it should be.
The place she has bought from is the HQ of a charity providing weddings for those with life-limiting /terminal conditions, so good all round.
What, like the fur throw in Brothers in Arms? No, ta.
Apologies for obscurity to them as is puzzled. It’s gengineered from Cat and so behaves like Cat without having any consciousness: no cruelty involved, but a disconcerting thing to go to sleep under if you don’t know…
The talk of wedding finery is lovely. Well done, Carinthia xx for your über expert abilities!
We drove to Morpeth, today! I know! On the way, we encountered 6-7 tiny ducklings crossing the road. Mr Bee expertly avoided squishing them and the tail-gating t**t behind us seemed to miss them by chance. Where the responsible adult was, I have no idea. Certainly not in the car behind us.
Dinner - fish bake with loads of veg. No attempt to beat the Masterchef winner - yay!
