When out of the house or car I wear a medical type disposable mask so that it is brushing my eyelashes at the top and over my chin at the bottom

Tesco pharmacy people were wearing masks. Which they pulled down to their chins the instant they stepped away from the counter, and up again as they came back.

So is ours, and the assistant pulls down her mask to fan herself and shout to colleagues through the back…

Obviously I am grinding my teeth. Largely, people around here are wearing masks competently. There are exceptions and I despise them (especially those who, professionally, should know better).

We are now up to 171 Covid related deaths in our Orsepiddle, & even the staff who may never clap eyes onna patient have to wear a disposable surgical mask whilst working in their offices.
There are ‘one way’ systems printed on the floor of every corridor. DiL reports that some still think that the rules don’t apply…

Maybe the fact that immunisation is on its way might, just might, make people comply (sorry, Gus) with fairly basic measures?

I cannot make head nor tail of the various Tiers, nor yet how they apply when there must be a border somewhere; someone must have a front door in one tier and a back door in another, and be able to escape into a different tier that way.

I am still proposing to stop 'ome and do none but essential shopping (ie fetching my prescriptions) until further notice. And wear a mask, and not go near anyone. I am Norwegian enough by nature not to mind too much about this.
