Back in the days of Barn Dances azzan winter entertainment , there was a group of musicians who, whilst being very nice people were no longer playing very much, or very well, together.

For people who are interested I’ve started a new thread.
We bought a deep fat fryer today
Proper chips are gawjus
And soft fried eggs to dip chippies in just make a meal
Yeah, now about ‘quizzes’, young Dunnock…
A strike rate of 1/80 on a first read-through is not encouragin’
Never had one, although Mr C offered to buy one, when The Darlings had left home… 
Chips were hand cut, soaked & then dried before being cooked inna chip pan
